Ensembles

Students at East High School can participate in one or more of five curricular ensembles: the Bass Chorale, Treble Chorale, Raider Choir, Varsity Choir, or Chamber Choir. All ninth grade students sing in the Treble or Bass Chorales. The five curricular choirs meet every other day for 90 minutes as part of an A-B Block Schedule. Students complete voice checks in February to determine ensembles for the next school year. All five ensembles present one concert each quarter as part of the course requirements.

Ensembles explore a variety of repertoire, and students develop skills in breath management, tone production, intonation, musicality, and music literacy, among others.

East High School offers three competitive show choirs - The Headliners (varsity mixed), Prestige (JV soprano/alto), and Entourage (JV tenor/bass).
